Personal information on this system will be used for induction purposes only and will be kept as secure as possible, stored in the UK and encrypted in line with GDPR. Headteachers/principals, induction tutors, leads, mentors, ECTs (NQTs) and administrators should ensure that arrangements are in place to facilitate the effective protection of data.
ECT (NQT) information, the induction process and the progress reviews and assessments generated from it should be treated with strict confidentiality at all times and should not be shared with anyone not directly involved in the induction process. Should an ECT (NQT) leave their post to continue induction elsewhere, completed assessments will be shared upon request with the next inducting school or college and/or the appropriate body for induction purposes only.
NB: In accordance with data protection, please avoid storing any private and confidential information on shared computer systems including usernames and passwords for ECT Manager and any progress reviews and formal assessments and/or any ECT (NQT) personal details.
Personal login details for this system should never be shared with other individuals. A single login used by multiple staff is not permitted.
